Description

Join the Edmonton Chamber Music Society for their Summer Solstice Music Festival from June 17-22.

ECMS is welcoming the summer sun with outstanding chamber music from world class musicians.

These performances will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10014 81 Avenue NW.

Summer Passion
From the poised grace of Jean-Marie Leclair’s Baroque duo violin sonata to the fluid, impressionistic gestures of Debussy’s cello sonata, each work reflects its era’s unique approach to movement and expression. Petri Makkonen’s fiery Tango-Toccata infuses the recital with contemporary energy and Argentine flair, while Brahms’s monumental Piano Quintet in F Minor brings the journey to a powerful close, blending Romantic intensity with folk and dance-like undercurrents.
