Join the Edmonton Chamber Music Society as they present the Gryphon Trio on Friday, October 4 at 7:30 PM at Convocation Hall in the Old Arts Building, University of Alberta (116 St. &, 85 Ave).

Experience the magic of Canada’s Gryphon Trio, one of the world’s premier piano trios. For over 25 years, it has earned acclaim for and captivated global audiences with its dynamic, refined, and memorable performances. With over 85 commissioned works and a prolific recording catalogue, including 22 releases, the Gryphons have pushed the boundaries of classical music. Honours include 11 nominations and three Juno Awards for Classical Album of the Year.

The Edmonton Chamber Music Society has been bringing internationally renowned chamber musicians to Edmonton for over 65 years. Its concert seasons offer a range of programming from early music to contemporary works performed by instrumental and vocal soloists, small chamber orchestras, vocal ensembles and traditional string quartets.

Originally founded by faculty members of the University of Alberta’s Department of Music, the Society continues its dedication to musical education through its outreach programs and an inexpensive ticket price for any student. To further encourage music students to attend, discounted tickets are offered to music teachers when they bring their students to a concert.

Paid parking is available at nearby University of Alberta parking lots. The University Station LRT stop and University Transit Station are both a 5-minute walk away.
