Join Northern Lights Folk Club for their annual presentation of Women of Folkways on Saturday, March 8 at Parkview Community League, 9135 146 Street NW. Doors open at 7:15PM, performance begins at 8:00PM.

A co-presentation with Winter Roots Roundup (U of A Sound Studies), the Women of Folkways concert is a celebration by women of women in the Folkways Records catalogue. The artists will present a collaborative singer-in-the-round concert where they will explore and celebrate the music of Folkways by presenting new interpretations of traditional folk songs as well as their original songs to expand the tradition. Artists will be announced closer to the performance date.

Children aged 5 and under receive free admission at the door

No physical or electronic tickets will be provided. You will need to have your order confirmation ready at the door.

Free street parking is available, as well as limited on-site parking. ETS routes 2 and 904 are within a 5-minute walk.
